William Ward is a longtime La Jolla attorney who has led his own law practice since 1984 and provides knowledgeable representation in a range of business and construction law matters. Emphasizing an honest, aggressive approach to litigation, William Ward has been involved in a number of successful jury verdicts and earned plaudits from the San Diego Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Ward’s areas of in-depth knowledge include mechanic's liens and stop notices, and he has handled complex Miller Act construction matters at the federal level. He is licensed to practice in circuits across the State of California such as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and other federal courts, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. He has consistently been among those highlighted in Legal Leaders: Southern California's Top Rated Lawyers for Construction Law over the years.
Mr. Ward earned his JD at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. A fan of college football, he enjoys distance running and swimming in La Jolla in his free time.
